The Ottawa Alumni Chapter met for a small dinner gathering with chapter officers on September 19 at Moxie’s Restaurant in Gloucester, Ontario, a suburb of Ottawa.
The New York/New Jersey Alumni Chapter met for “TGIF at the Met” on August 2. The group went for drinks at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s rooftop bar and went on a tour of the 20th Century wing lead by alums and artists, Tony Faddoul and Maroon Kassab.
The Southern California Alumni Chapter hosted a reception at the House of Lebanon on October 19. Alumnae Susan Qaqundah and Leila Blackstone coordinated the reception.
The Seattle Alumni Chapter met for a bowling party on October 18 at Lucky Strike Bowling in Bellevue, Washington, a suburb of Seattle. The bowling night began with drinks and appetizers, then finished with some enjoyable and humorous bowling. Close to 30 people joined the fun.
On October 17, Houston oncologist Dr. Philip Salem presented a lecture on his life’s experiences in treating cancer patients and his views on Lebanon. His presentation was a commentary on his book, “Cancer, Love and the Politics of Hope.” Around 80 people attended the event.
